Air Fried Schnitzel

Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless chicken breasts
  • 100 g Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 200 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Cooking spray
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).

2. Set up a breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with seasoning in a third bowl.

3. Take each piece of meat and coat it in flour, shaking off the excess.

4. Dip the floured meat into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated.

5. Finally, press the meat into the breadcrumb mixture, covering it completely.

6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil.

7. Place the breaded schnitzels in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.

8. Spray the tops of the schnitzels with a little cooking oil for extra crispiness.

9. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.

10. Serve hot with lemon wedges and your choice of sides.
