Chicken Fajitas

Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 bell Peppers
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 4 Tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro (optional)
  • Lime wedges (optional)

Instructions

1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips.

2. In a bowl, combine the chicken with lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.

3. While the chicken is marinating, slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips.

4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

5. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the skillet. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

6. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.

7. Serve the chicken and vegetable mixture in the warm tortillas, garnished with fresh cilantro and lime wedges if desired.
