Quick Shrimp Scampi
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 500 g Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 120 ml White wine
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted.
2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp, cooking until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
4. Pour in white wine and lemon juice, then let it simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
5. Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve immediately over cooked pasta or with crusty bread.
