Chickpea Carrot Puree for Baby

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas
  • 2 medium carrots
  • Water as needed

Instructions

1. Start by rinsing the chickpeas under cold water and draining them.

2. Peel and chop the carrots into small pieces for even cooking.

3. In a pot, combine the chickpeas and carrots, and cover them with water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

4. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer until the carrots are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

5. Drain the mixture and transfer it to a blender or food processor.

6. Blend until smooth, adding a little water if necessary to achieve the desired consistency.

7. Allow the puree to cool before serving it to your baby.
