Kale Sweet Potato Puree for Baby
Ingredients
- 2 medium sweet potatoes
- 1 cup kale
- Water for boiling and steaming
Instructions
1. Start by peeling and chopping the sweet potatoes into small cubes.
2. Place the sweet potato cubes in a pot and cover them with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, which should take about 15-20 minutes.
3. While the sweet potatoes are cooking, wash the kale thoroughly and remove the tough stems.
4. In a separate pot, bring a small amount of water to a boil and add the kale. Steam the kale for about 5 minutes until it is wilted and tender.
5. Drain the sweet potatoes and add them to a blender or food processor along with the steamed kale.
6. Blend until smooth, adding a little water if necessary to achieve the desired consistency.
7. Allow the puree to cool before serving it to your baby or storing it in the refrigerator for later use.
