15-Minute Pasta

Ingredients

  • 400 g Pasta
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 250 g Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

2. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

3. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

4. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

5. Toss in cherry tomatoes and cook until they start to soften, about 3-4 minutes.

6. Drain the pasta and reserve some pasta water.

7. Add the drained pasta to the pan with the tomatoes and garlic.

8. Mix in fresh basil and a splash of reserved pasta water to create a sauce.

9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

10. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
