Butter Chicken
Ingredients
- 500 g Chicken, cut into pieces
- 200 g Yogurt
- 1 lemon , juiced
- 2 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Coriander
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 50 g Butter
- 1 onion , chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 inch Ginger, minced
- 400 g Crushed tomatoes
- 100 ml Cream
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
1. Start by marinating the chicken in yogurt, lemon juice, and spices for at least 1 hour.
2. In a large pan, heat oil and butter over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
3. Stir in minced garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
4. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until it is browned on all sides.
5. Pour in crushed tomatoes and simmer for about 15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
6. Reduce the heat and stir in cream, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
7. Season with salt and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
