Mini Quiche
Ingredients
- 4 large Eggs
- 200 ml Milk
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 sheet Of pastry dough
- 1 cup Chopped vegetables (e.g., spinach, bell peppers)
- 1 cup Shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar, mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup Cooked meat (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
3. Add salt and pepper to the egg mixture for seasoning.
4. Grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or butter.
5. Roll out the pastry dough and cut it into circles to fit the muffin tin.
6. Place the pastry circles into the muffin tin, pressing them down gently.
7. Fill each pastry shell with a mixture of chopped vegetables, cheese, and cooked meat if desired.
8. Pour the egg mixture over the fillings in each pastry shell until just full.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the egg is set and the tops are golden.
10. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the tin and serve warm or at room temperature.
