Omnia Coconut Cake

Ingredients

  • 200g flour
  • 150g sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • 100g melted butter
  • 100g shredded coconut

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure even distribution.

2. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, coconut milk, and melted butter until smooth.

3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in shredded coconut gently.

4. Grease the Omnia baking pan with a little butter or oil to prevent sticking.

5. Pour the batter into the prepared Omnia pan, spreading it evenly.

6. Place the Omnia pan on the base of the Omnia oven, ensuring it fits snugly around the central chimney.

7. Cover the Omnia with its red domed lid and set it on low-medium heat on your gas burner.

8. Bake for approximately 30-40 minutes, checking for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of the cake. It should come out clean when the cake is done.

9. Once baked, carefully remove the Omnia from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes before removing the cake from the pan.
