Omnia Ground Beef Pasta Bake
Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 400g diced tomatoes
- 200g tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 300g pasta
- 200g shredded cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for greasing
Instructions
1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion is translucent.
3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and Italian seasoning. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes to combine the flavors.
4. In a separate pot, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
5. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the beef mixture and half of the shredded cheese.
6. Grease the Omnia base lightly and pour the pasta and beef mixture into the ring around the central chimney.
7. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the mixture.
8. Place the lid on the Omnia and set it on a low-medium heat on the gas burner.
9. Cook for approximately 25-30 minutes, checking occasionally to ensure it doesn’t burn. The dish is ready when the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10. Carefully remove the Omnia from the heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
