Omnia Pumpkin Seed Bread

Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 7g dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 300ml warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 100g pumpkin seeds

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Mix well to ensure even distribution.

2. Add warm water and oil to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.

3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic. This should take about 5-7 minutes.

4. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, approximately 1 hour.

5. Once risen, punch down the dough and fold in the pumpkin seeds.

6. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it in the Omnia baking pan, ensuring it fits snugly around the central chimney.

7. Cover the Omnia with its lid and place it on a low-medium heat burner.

8. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, checking occasionally to ensure it doesn't burn.

9. Once the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped, remove it from the Omnia and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
