Zucchini Noodles with Meatballs
Ingredients
- 500 g Ground meat
- 100 g Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 medium Zucchinis
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 400 g Marinara sauce
- Parmesan cheese for serving
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
1. Start by preheating the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Prepare the meatballs by mixing ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and seasoning in a bowl. Form into small balls.
3. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes until cooked through.
4. While the meatballs are baking, spiralize the zucchini to create noodles.
5. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the zucchini noodles for a few minutes until slightly softened.
6. Add marinara sauce to the pan and stir to combine with the noodles. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
7. Once the meatballs are done, add them to the pan with the zucchini noodles and sauce. Toss gently to coat.
8. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
