Corn and Potato Puree for Baby
Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes
- 100g corn (fresh or frozen)
- Water (for boiling)
- Breast milk or formula (optional, for consistency)
Instructions
1. Start by peeling and chopping the potatoes into small cubes.
2. In a pot, add the potato cubes and cover them with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, which should take about 15 minutes.
3. While the potatoes are cooking, prepare the corn. If using fresh corn, remove the kernels from the cob. If using frozen corn, simply measure out the required amount.
4. Once the potatoes are tender, add the corn to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
5. Drain the potatoes and corn, then transfer them to a blender or food processor.
6. Blend until smooth, adding a little water or breast milk/formula to achieve the desired consistency.
7. Allow the puree to cool before serving it to your baby.
