Omnia Apple Cake
Ingredients
- 200g flour
- 150g sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 100ml milk
- 100g melted butter
- 300g diced apples
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
1. Start by greasing the Omnia baking pan with butter or oil to prevent sticking.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure even distribution of the dry ingredients.
3. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and melted butter until well combined.
4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
5. Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon gently into the batter.
6. Pour the batter into the greased Omnia baking pan, spreading it evenly around the central chimney.
7. Place the lid on the Omnia and set it on a low-medium heat on the gas burner.
8. Cook for approximately 30-40 minutes, checking occasionally to ensure it is baking evenly. You can test for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean.
9. Once baked, carefully remove the Omnia from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
