Omnia Caprese Pasta Bake
Ingredients
- 250g pasta
- 400g diced tomatoes
- 200g mozzarella balls
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Start by cooking the pasta in boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with diced tomatoes, mozzarella balls, fresh basil, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly coated.
3. Grease the Omnia base with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.
4. Pour the pasta mixture into the Omnia, spreading it evenly around the central chimney tube.
5. Place the lid on the Omnia securely.
6. Set the Omnia on a low-medium heat on your gas burner and cook for about 25-30 minutes, checking occasionally to ensure it doesn't burn.
7. Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, remove the Omnia from the heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
