Omnia Blueberry Muffins
Ingredients
- 250g all-purpose flour
- 150g sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 200ml milk
- 75g melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 150g fresh blueberries
Instructions
1. Prepare the Omnia stovetop oven by placing the ring on the gas burner and ensuring it is clean and dry.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure even distribution of the dry ingredients.
3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and egg until well combined.
4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
5. Fold in the blueberries gently to avoid breaking them.
6. Grease the Omnia baking pan with a little butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
7. Pour the muffin batter into the greased pan, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
8. Place the pan into the Omnia ring, ensuring it sits securely around the central chimney tube.
9. Cover the Omnia with its red domed lid and set the burner to low-medium heat.
10. Cook for approximately 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of a muffin. It should come out clean when they are ready.
11. Once baked, carefully remove the lid and let the muffins cool for a few minutes before taking them out of the pan.
