Omnia Chicken Tikka Masala
Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast, diced
- 200g plain yogurt
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 400g diced tomatoes
- 200ml coconut milk
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine yogurt, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, coriander, and salt. Add chicken pieces and coat well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Heat oil in the Omnia base over low-medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
3. Stir in minced garlic and ginger, cooking for a couple of minutes until fragrant.
4. Add the marinated chicken to the Omnia, cooking until the chicken is browned on all sides.
5. Pour in diced tomatoes and coconut milk, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
6. Place the lid on the Omnia and cook for about 25-30 minutes, ensuring the heat remains low-medium.
7. Check for doneness; the chicken should be cooked through and tender. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
8. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
