Omnia Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 200g flour
  • 100g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 200g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150ml milk
  • Butter or oil for greasing

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure even distribution of the dry ingredients.

2. In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until the mixture is light and fluffy.

3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

4. Grease the Omnia baking pan with butter or oil to prevent sticking.

5. Pour the batter into the greased pan, ensuring it is evenly spread.

6. Carefully place the pan into the Omnia base, ensuring it sits securely around the central chimney tube.

7. Cover the Omnia with its red domed lid and place it on a low-medium heat on the stovetop.

8. Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of the cake. It should come out clean when the cake is ready.

9. Once baked, remove the Omnia from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes before carefully taking the cake out of the pan.
