Omnia Polenta with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup polenta
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 400g canned tomatoes, chopped
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add salt. Stir in the polenta gradually, whisking to prevent lumps. Cook until thickened, stirring frequently.

2. Once the polenta is thick, pour it into the Omnia's ring around the central chimney. Smooth the top with a spatula.

3. In a separate pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chopped tomatoes, basil, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer until the sauce thickens.

4. Pour the tomato sauce over the polenta in the Omnia, ensuring even coverage.

5. Place the lid on the Omnia and set it on low-medium heat on the gas burner. Cook for about 30-40 minutes, checking occasionally to ensure it doesn’t burn.

6. Once cooked, remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Omnia Polenta with Tomato Sauce!
