Omnia Quiche Lorraine

Omnia Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients

  • 200g shortcrust pastry
  • 3 large eggs
  • 200ml cream
  • 150g cooked bacon, chopped
  • 100g grated cheese (e.g., Gruyère or cheddar)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Begin by preparing the pastry. Roll out the dough and fit it into the base of the Omnia. Trim any excess dough from the edges.

2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and cream until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Add the cooked bacon and grated cheese to the egg mixture, stirring gently to combine.

4. Pour the filling into the pastry-lined base, ensuring it is evenly distributed.

5. Place the Omnia lid on top securely.

6. Set the Omnia on a low-medium heat on your gas burner and cook for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.

7. Once cooked, carefully remove the Omnia from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
