Omnia Sourdough Rolls

Omnia Sourdough Rolls

Ingredients

  • 200g sourdough starter
  • 400g flour
  • 10g salt
  • 250ml water

Instructions

1. Prepare the sourdough starter by mixing equal parts of flour and water, allowing it to ferment overnight until bubbly.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and water with the active sourdough starter. Mix until a dough forms.

3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.

5. Once risen, punch down the dough and shape it into small rolls.

6. Arrange the rolls around the central chimney tube of the Omnia, ensuring they are evenly spaced.

7. Put the lid on the Omnia and place it on a low-medium heat on the gas burner.

8. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, checking for a golden-brown color and a hollow sound when tapped.

9. Carefully remove the Omnia from the heat and let it cool slightly before serving the rolls warm.
