Omnia Sunflower Seed Bread
Ingredients
- 500g bread flour
- 100g sunflower seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 7g dry yeast
- 350ml warm water
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sunflower seeds, salt, and yeast.
2. Gradually add warm water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Once risen, punch down the dough and shape it into a round loaf.
6. Grease the Omnia baking pan and place the shaped loaf in the ring around the central chimney.
7. Cover the Omnia with its lid and place it on a low-medium heat burner.
8. Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes, checking for a golden crust and a hollow sound when tapped on the bottom.
9. Carefully remove the Omnia from the heat and let the bread cool for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
