Omnia Carrot Cake
Ingredients
- 200g grated carrots
- 200g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 150g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100ml vegetable oil
- 100g chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
1. Start by grating the carrots and set them aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
3. In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and oil until well combined.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
5. Fold in the grated carrots and chopped nuts until evenly distributed.
6. Grease the Omnia baking pan and pour the batter into it, spreading it evenly.
7. Place the baking pan in the Omnia base, ensuring it sits securely around the central chimney.
8. Cover the Omnia with the red domed lid and place it on a low-medium heat burner.
9. Bake for approximately 30-40 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick inserted in the center.
10. Once baked, remove the Omnia from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
