Omnia Lemon Cake

Ingredients

  • 200g flour
  • 150g sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 100g melted butter
  • 100ml lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure even distribution.

2. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.

3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

4. Grease the Omnia baking pan with butter or oil to prevent sticking.

5. Pour the batter into the prepared Omnia pan, spreading it evenly around the central chimney.

6. Place the lid on the Omnia and set it on a low-medium heat on the gas burner.

7. Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of the cake. It should come out clean.

8. Once baked, carefully remove the Omnia from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes before removing the cake from the pan.
