Millet Apple Porridge for Baby
Ingredients
- 100g millet
- 400ml water
- 1 small apple
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
1. Rinse the millet under cold water until the water runs clear.
2. In a saucepan, combine the rinsed millet and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
3. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan. Simmer for about 15 minutes until the millet is tender.
4. While the millet is cooking, peel and chop the apple into small pieces.
5. Add the chopped apple to the saucepan with the cooked millet and stir well.
6. Continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes until the apple is soft.
7. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving to your baby.
