Spinach Potato Puree for Baby
Ingredients
- 100g spinach
- 1 medium potato
- Water for boiling
Instructions
1. Begin by washing the spinach thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or grit.
2. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the spinach. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until wilted.
3. Remove the spinach from the pot and place it in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain and set aside.
4. Peel and chop the potato into small cubes. In the same pot, add fresh water and bring it to a boil. Cook the potato cubes until tender, which should take about 10-15 minutes.
5. Once the potatoes are cooked, drain them and add them to a blender along with the spinach.
6. Blend the mixture until smooth, adding a little water if necessary to achieve the desired consistency.
7. Allow the puree to cool before serving it to your baby.
