Quinoa Vegetable Mash for Baby
Ingredients
- 100g quinoa
- 200ml water
- 1 small carrot
- 1 small zucchini
- 1 small potato
- 1 tsp olive oil (optional)
Instructions
1. Rinse the quinoa under cold water to remove any bitterness.
2. In a pot, combine the rinsed quinoa and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Cook until the quinoa is fluffy and the water is absorbed.
3. While the quinoa is cooking, steam the vegetables until they are tender.
4. Once the quinoa and vegetables are cooked, combine them in a bowl.
5. Mash the mixture with a fork or a potato masher until you reach the desired consistency for your baby.
6. Allow the mash to cool before serving to your baby.
